What a weekend! Here's a message from Mark, the Co-captain of the 1s and new President:
"I just want to say a massive thank you to so many people. Firstly, we could not have run the event without people like Andy Rennie and JSS who created a very professional stage set up.
Secondly I want to thank YUSU and the lounge, you allowed us to run our event and hopefully the takings behind the bar were huge! Also a massive thank you to all the bar staff who were rushed off their feet.
Next we have to say a massive thank you to Mike Britland, Michael Kelly, Stephen Bromfield, Alex Batteson, Shaun Phillips & Fred Evans for helping run the event on stage. They put in a huge effort and made sure the event was amazing. Big thank you to Mitchell Cockburn who sorted all of the great music.
Next we have to say thank you to the amazing support we got on the day from all of our friends and fellow students, what a place York is! Also great commitment shown by Emma, Jess, Hannah and a few others who spent hours making signs for the players
And last but not least the teams:
